Reviews: MI Metal Shows & Albums
Here’s Our Opinion.
EXCLUSIVE VIDEO PREMIERE: Confused – Get Wasted
Get Wasted thrashes hard, the way crossover is supposed to, with a ton of hardcore punk attitude and energy.
Disimperium – Malefic Obliteration
The EP has the ominous intent of black metal, the thick swampiness of dissonant death metal, and the feral abrasion of grindcore.
Patty PerShayla & The Mayhaps – Cheap Diction
Full of snarling punk attitude, the album is just plain fun to listen to.
Craven Idol – Forked Tongues
No one should ever dare question the might and sheer will of Craven Idol.
Wode – Burn in Many Mirrors
At nearly forty minutes of purposeful chaos spread across six tracks, Wode present a barrier of riffs, blasts, and growls, the breaching of which presents an exceptional payoff.
Hallucination – Hallucination
The label is known for finding the congruence points of excellence and nastiness. The Hallucination demo is both excellent and nasty.
EXCLUSIVE TRACK STREAM: NIL – The War Inside

Grandeur – Aurea Aetas
This is fist pumping, sing-along, blackened melodic crust.

EXCLUSIVE TRACK STREAM: Archangel A.D. – Beacons
…the Texas quintet do so in a slow burn thrash track that is reminiscent of the classic thrash I grew up on, in terms of grit and delivery.
