Reviews: MI Metal Shows & Albums
Here’s Our Opinion.
Bâ’a – Deus Qui Non Mentitur
Deus Qui Non Mentitur, which was released on April 24th, 2020 by Osmose Productions, is the perfect black metal album you need to spice things up when Orthodox black metal just isn’t doing it for the moment.
Khost – Buried Steel
Evil lurks around the corner, but our hero will destroy all threats while this track is pulsing through the sound system.
Black Curse – Endless Wound
Endless Wound is a sentient force primed to call forth the apocalypse in sharp, brutal terror.
Nekkrofukk – Nukklear Satan, Goat Urine, Blood Vomit Sperm
Across five tracks of murky darkness, the breath of destruction breathes moste foule… And that’s only the first side.
Foes – American Violence
If you listen and feel crushed, you’ve gotten the picture.
Cénotaphe – Monte Veritá
No matter if you like your black metal straightforward, or if you like yours a little bit more unconventional, Cénotaphe is here to bring you something that you will love.
Ulcerate – Stare Into Death and Be Still
Overall, Stare into Death and Be Still is a special record; one that defines a turning point in the band’s career.
Kool Kieth x Thetan – Space Goretex
A reality TV star is president, an extremely infectious disease is ravaging the entire earth, and an old rapper makes new music with a noisecore band from the south. You couldn’t make this shit up.
Sovereign – Neurotic
The result is a record that you WANT to revisit again and again;
156/SILENCE – Irrational Pull
Overall, the Irrational Pull album is a solid addition to the hardcore genre that may not reinvent the wheel, but definitely polishes the hubcap some.
