Reviews: MI Metal Shows & Albums
Here’s Our Opinion.
Enox – Sequence (single)
…all signs point to it being musically diverse and very competently written.
VINTLECHKEIT – Svartskogen, svartvinter… / Dødssted…
It was very clear that the band had something to prove, and they had a damn good start proving it.
Polemicist – Zarathustrian Impressions
The journey the riffs take you on is full of bizarre twists and turns, progressive in a vicious, abrasive way.
xIron Sharpens Ironx – The Tragedy of Mankind
This genre-defying album throws all emotions into the mix to really bring home the message.
The Bar Stool Preachers – Soundtrack to Your Apocalypse
This is a song that is full of fantastic one-liners that perfectly depict what is going on in the UK, USA, and the rest of the world.
An Isolated Mind – Self Titled
Despite the contrast in tone and intensity, this album blends together into a dynamic cacophony.
Deveneror – Kenoma
If Hell has a jazz club, Lucifer’s perhaps, it’s likely that Deveneror would be the house band.
Tethra – Empire of the Void
Then the pace change hits and drives you deeper into the void. Utterly amazing.
Blosse – Loin
The howling wind sends a chill down to the bone and leaves you feeling nothing short of frostbitten.
BEAR – Propaganda
Overall, if I were to describe Propaganda with one word it would be “stimulating”; the lyrics made me think, the music made me move, and I was never bored.
