EXCLUSIVE TRACK STREAM: Walking Corpse – Born In Hell
Like a pulsating globe of razor wire and broken glass, the album chases you down intent on psychic destruction.
Like a pulsating globe of razor wire and broken glass, the album chases you down intent on psychic destruction.
Allow the annihilation.
This is the foulest of foul, and one of the rare releases of this style that doesn’t bore me to tears.
This album is a feral creature who has gained an undeath of its own, ready to attack, hunting with each note.
The album is elegant, flowing seamlessly from traditional heavy metal riffs to djent worthy chugs to tremolo riffing to soaring melodies to…well, you get the idea.
I’m a pretty huge fan of the band’s output to date, but this track tops the pile for me.
This may be the darkest entry I’ve heard in the cosmic black metal subcategory. It is also one of the best.
The attack on The Weight of Being is poignant and powerful, both lyrically and sonically.
Skronky riffs ride the bass like a cowboy on a bull, except it’s the cowboy (guitars) that is wild.
Listening to these eight tracks requires a willingness to enter a harsh world, but the payoff is worth it.
