Long have we known that Canadians know how to make progressive rock and metal. (can anyone say Rush) Heyoka’s Mirror is a relatively new project based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada (pretty near my old stomping grounds), though they have international roots. Nearing release of their first EP to be entitled Loss of Contact with Reality, the band is offering us the track Face of Void, which mixes progressive rock with some melodic death metal.
