May 7th, 2016 was a pretty great day. For those of you who don’t already know, my favorite band is the Savannah, Georgia band Baroness.
Intense yet complicated. Feminine and masculine.
Bass and treble. Passive aggressive, good versus evil metal.
No one really talks about the feeling metal emanates.
These guys do. No words needed.
One guitar. One voice. One man.
Uncomfortable like the warm blanket of death.
Technical tightness blistering minds, bodies and souls.
Hungry, metal-horny crowd.
You must witness all.

In a time where band reunions have started to become played out, it’s refreshing to see one doing it for all the right reasons.
