It’s no coincidence that on National Animal Rights Day, Fiadh Productions have released a benefit compilation to raise money for Fawn’s Fortress, an animal sanctuary in New Jersey’s beautiful Pine Barrens. Titled “From Dreams to Living Things III: From the Plough to the Stars,” the release features 50+ bands and artists, covering a variety of metal, synth, and punk subgenres.
ALL of the proceeds from this album will be donated to Fawn’s Fortress, and you’re able to donate as little (or as much) as you’d like to snag these 6+ hours of amazing underground music. Biography: Porous has been possessed by heavy music for the vast majority of his life. For a good chunk of it, that love was exorcised by playing metal, punk, and hardcore with other musicians. Nowadays Porous writes/records music mostly on his own, but engages with the community by supporting/encouraging other artists, and one of those ways is through writing! In early 2025 he joined MoshPitNation to contribute album/show reviews, concert photography, and hopefully an infectious love for sincere heavy music.
