Sweat Lodge started in 2010 as a trio, and have since transformed into a quartet. Tokens for Hell, unfortunately, will be the group’s last release. Hopefully not forever, but sometimes that’s how it goes.

These guys are mellow stoner metal coated in psychedelic rock. Tokens for Hell is groovy, cosmic music with a very Black Sabbath feel. Except it’s on acid.

There must be something about Texas that makes good musicians. Every minute of this EP is phenomenal, and every minute made me feel like I was floating. The vocals stack neatly with the grooving instruments.
