Another Tech Metal Band or Progressive Death Metal as they seem to want to be called. This album doesn’t give you anything new, but it does what it should in a good way. The first track Occultivation smacks you in the face with speed and almost excessive aggression. At first the almost soothing musical intros to each track seem superficial. I soon realize they are a necessary break, allowing me to catch my breath. Track number five, Futile State slows just a half a beat. The band really comes into sync. The scale climbing solos fitting well with the grinding vocals and rapid fire drums. This was a stand out track, for me, and may become a regular in my play list. Overall, this album is definitely worth a listen for anyone who enjoys this type of angry fast pace metal.

Recommendation:  Just try not to slam into anyone.
